What is Hypnosis or Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis can be defined as a natural subconscious altered process which changes in sensations, perceptions, thoughts, feelings or behavior are suggested. Hypnosis can be used to amplify whatever it is about therapy that makes it profound depth. Hypnosis is a specialized technique, not a therapy itself, and should be used as an adjunctive intervention within a complete psychological and medical treatment package. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis which means it is totally voluntary and cannot be forced to do. With that being said you won’t do or say anything you don’t want to. You will be fully in control of the entire session,  and you will remember everything that has been said.

Does Hypnotherapy Work?

Absolutely! The number of ways of entering an altered state of consciousness is as limitless as the imagination. By passing our "critical faculty" our subconscious is open and receptive to respond to powerful and positive suggestions, affirmations and images that will manifest making lasting changes in your life. I will stress the need for my clients to become emotionally self-sustaining!

How Effective is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a well effective and tested method for making lasting change. An extraordinary quality of mental, emotional, and physical relaxation. You can be relaxed and yet not be hypnotized - and you can be hypnotized and not be relaxed. Relaxation is only one aspect of one kind of trance. Hypnotherapy is very effective when you’re ready to achieve your goals using the power of your mind. There is growing evidence that, in the right situation, online hypnotherapy can be used as an effective method of profound depths. Remote hypnotherapy sessions, in my opinion, should not be a complete replacement for all face-to-face communication; but it is a good substitute when, for whatever reason, you are unable to access the face-to-face guidance that you want. Hypnotherapy, in any form, requires commitment on your part to help make it work. When you are committed to your consciousness evolving process, online hypnotherapy is another way to help you achieve your goals.

How Do Remote Hypnotherapy Sessions Work Works in Practice?

At your first appointment, you will learn about hypnotism, how your mind works and your questions will be answered. Your challenges and desires will be discussed and your goals defined. In subsequent sessions, Amanda will guide you through a natural altered level of consciousness to allow you to continue your day harmonious and balanced.

Why Should I Consider Hypnosis?

Often there can be a conscious desire to change, but there may also be strong subconscious resistance, which could block simple post-hypnotic suggestions. The language of the subconscious is imagination and once it doesn't discern fact from fantasy we need to identify the belief systems that are present,  clear them, and reframe them. When the subconscious mind is full of negative program tapes, it's virtually impossible to stay in a positive frame of mind unless those tapes are changed on a subconscious level.

Live from a high sense of integrity and impeccability with your thoughts, words, and deeds. That’s the reason you should consider hypnosis!

Additionally, it is important for YOU to make a commitment to success. If you expect the hypnotherapist to simply MAKE you change without any effort on your part, you might be disappointed.


How Many Sessions Would I Need?

Some clients may discover the need for other techniques during the process to reach the best results so it may vary between  3 to 5 sessions per issue.

Can Hypnotherapy Still Work Through Zoom or On The Phone?

Yes! Hypnotherapy is largely an auditory profession. I use language patterns to induce trance, reprogram the subconscious, and facilitate powerful transformative experiences.
I seldom need to touch my clients (in person) and I have been able to eliminate all touch completely from the protocols.


How to Conduct Remote (Online) Hypnotherapy Sessions?

Get proper medical referrals when necessary, and be on time and ethical.  A simple Zoom account or any other App listed on our website is all that is needed, along with good background and a high-quality camera and microphone.  I recommend a solid internet connection that you can trust and I also provide a good online scheduling system to make booking appointments easy for my clients.

What About Technological Disruptions or Failures?

During the initial stages of the treatment, a “safe mode” is activated so that if communication is lost, you can return to your safe place and gradually return to consciousness. Another method of communication e.g. landline or mobile phone (offline) can then be used to recover the session.

Is The First Consultation Free?

We offer a complimentary 15 minutes consultation for you to meet me, learn a bit more about hypnosis, and discuss how we can best work together to help you achieve your goals. We will schedule the first session of your package during that time. The consultation may be conducted over the phone or even in Zoom. Each session is tailored to the individual. Each session lasts between one and one-half hours to two hours. Sometimes depending on the modality, it would last for three hours.

What Could You Feel In a Reiki Session?

Most likely you’ll feel super relaxed as if your body is melting. Since Reiki helps balance the energy centers in our bodies (chakras, meridians, and auras), you might notice how your energy begins to flow more freely or that blocked energy loosens. You may get sudden bodily twitches or gargling in your stomach as the blocked energy loosens. You might feel tingling or lightness as if you’re floating. Some clients feel warmth in their bodies, others may see colors. Spiritual experiences sometimes take place where you have visions of spiritual beings. However, it is not necessary to have an inner experience for the Reiki to have worked. Many of my clients go to sleep during the Reiki segment.
